Willigerod & MacAvoy has a long history of working with individuals with a variety of accessibility needs. We have provided consulting services for clients with spinal cord injuries, head trauma, spinal bifida, multiple sclerosis, and other disabling injuries. Other clients have been able to "age in place" after modifications were made to their homes to respond to the increasing disabilities that come with growing older.
We work with Insurance Companies, the Pennsylvania Catastrophic Loss Fund, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry's Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and State Workers' Insurance Fund, Keystone Human Services, Inc., and others to provide solutions for those of varying abilities.
Willigerod & MacAvoy is familiar with all State and Federal accessibility codes including the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI 117.1), and the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines.
More importantly however, we have a personal understanding of the issues which is only developed with years of first hand experience in designing accessible environments.
"I recommend Willigerod & MacAvoy highly for any requiring facilities for the disabled. The insight, compassion and superior knowledge they exhibit and their rapport with both patients and staff is outstanding."
